As an avid (almost daily) speed walker and hiker yr round I've tried a few of the more popular apps. Strava, Alltrails, etc, etc. This one tops them all in my opinion. Best attribute for me personally is the live pace per each km verbal . I challenge myself speed wise almost every time I'm out. Sadly, occasional slow a** interlopers are on my sidewalks so I give them a dirty look, point at my watch and gesture at them to get the heck outta my way! 👀?! 😠 🫵🏼! 👉🏼! 😤 ☄️🥵 😂

Just the sort of global access app that I'd been looking for. Seeing a lot of great views of Korea and the USA. Been using it for years now with no issues, still just the travel record/sharing app that I need.

I have the free version, it does ok. You are able to mark Trail and take pictures along your route and it does fine. If you get in a straight section sort of like a fire Road or Highway it will not to do the actual Trail but maybe a straight line signifying that it's not catching all the details of what you just ran through. Overall I am happy with this version

cool app with cool features like tracking your group in case you get separated. it also has a way to connect with people in other countries and see what kinds of hikes they do. I'm connected with several people in India, Australia, and South Korea. seeing photos from people in what amounts to local and state parks in places I'll probably never see even if I visit is super cool! definitely recommend for the casual and avid hiker!

Review update: it is now 2022 and I still use Ramblr for my trips. I hope it gets investment, finds a solid business model and continues to soar. Best everytrail replacement I found so far. 2020 Oct update : I still enjoy this app due to the photos , accurate route tracking and simple to use design. I mainly use it for hiking and cycling. I hope more categories will be added instead of just road bicycle and mountain biking. There are off road trails that fit in between both types

Pretty much the best app for everything traveling logging/journaling. Ive searched and tried various one's, this one is by far the most features exhaustive! Had a few issues with the photos or videos staying linked to the app until I'm able to sync them when on wifi/service again so ensure all pics/vids are there before ing…

I wish two things. first one. when I follow already existing trip, I would like to see the altitude profile that i can pace myself. 2nd one. i wish the camera bug is fixed soon. when I use camera function more than once while I am recording my trip, ramblr keeps pausing my trip recording randomly and unexpectedly that I have to restart the recording manually. If I dont recognize it instantly and realize it late to restart the recording, my trip is not fully recorded. the track is disconnected.

Gives a reasonably accurate GPS of the route but slight variance when backtracking the same trail. Does not do equestrian specific things like gaits. If you accidentally close the app in the middle of recording an activity, it did recover the route to that point when you relaunch the app, at least when you do it soon.
