Favorite part of the app is the mate challenge. It's probably the most convenient free way to improve at tsumeshogi. Even though the problems aren't as high quality as the ones in books, you'll learn all the most common patterns at the very least. After reaching mate challenge rating 2100 or so, it might be better to start using books as well.

Mainly playing mate problems. Also the only app that s tsuitate variant, which I believe worth trying if you haven't already, I know. The biggest problem is that its incredibly annoying ads. You have to watch two 30-second ads plus some to solve 50 puzzles a day. There isn't even an option to purchase an ad-free and/or unlimited puzzles . Also you can't see a solution after you failed, making it much harder to learn from your mistakes.
