I was hoping that this app would resolve the issue of podcasts randomly jumping back several minutes, but it seems to be even worse than podcast addict in this regard. Seems to be related to the inserted commercials. Doesn't seem to happen to non-sponsered podcasts. Other than that, it's a nice clean player.

When Google Podcasts was discontinued, I went looking for something with similar features (namely, a lot of flexibility for organizing my very long and ever changing queue). I'm very happy with my decision to try AntennaPod, this app offers even better functionality in my opinion. My only suggestion would be to enable a feature to easily move to the bottom of the queue without scrolling, or to add new shows to the top of the queue (thus making it unnecessary to scroll to the bottom).

Love it. Has the features I want - marking favorites, repeat a number of seconds (I was shocked at the number of apps that didn't seem to have that.) Clean, no fuss. Only thing that would make it better would be if I could sync chosen podcasts and and what's been listened to and not between devices, but I understand that would require a and a whole new ecosystem. So, I'm ok with it. Still a great app.

Interface is overall amazing, but playback issues are hard to deal with. If I stream podcasts instead of ing them, they randomly skip back and forth a few seconds, accompanied by an almost record scratch sound. And however much time gets replayed gets cut off the end. I want to stick with this, because it's the best interface I could ask for. But the skipping around randomly is getting unbearable.

I really like many of the features, but I still miss the Google podcast app. Love the way sleep timer reduces volume before shutoff. Love that I can ⭐ my favorites. Love that I can remove some episodes from inbox without marking them as played. Been using it ever since I lost Google podcast app, & had no problem with it til recently when it suddenly started u all of my storage! I had to uninstall & re it & start all over again! I hated that! It doesn't update like Google did.

I migrated to AntennaPod when Google Podcast was shutting down. I've found AntennaPod easy to learn, and it does what I need it to do, without a bunch of extraneous features. The one thing I do think could use improvement is finding new podcasts, which is currently not very easy to navigate unless you have a name to search with. If you have specific podcasts you like, or you want an easy to use podcast player for RSS feeds, AntennaPod is a good choice.

The main thing that sets this app apart from other podcast apps is that it doesn't look like garbage. Pretty low bar to clear, but here we are. Combine that with all the features you expect from a podcast app and nothing locked behind a paywall and you have a near-perfect podcast app. The only thing that stops it from being perfect is that when you pause a podcast for more than a few seconds, you have to go back into the app to start it playing again, the widget won't do it.

It works just fine, but for some reason, whenever I pause a podcast, it clears the podcast from my notification bar, meaning I have to go back into the app itself to play it again. No ads aside from what's in the audio track itself, by the way. I still highly recommend this, aside from the minor complaint I have
