Purchased what I thought was the full paid version. But when you go into the app it entices you to make yet another purchase to get the rest of the content. The initial purchase is just for "ad free" and the next purchase is for additional content. So I had to make two purchases to get everything. Why didn't you just do a free version and a paid version and that's all? I previously purchased this for my previous phone a few years ago and it didn't have this problem.

Overall it's great. The biggest issue I have is when you manually set the time, they've chosen the iPhone-like date time dials. These are not only inefficient but the app implementation is so sensitive it's a pain to set a time accurately. Use an Android-style date picker. Edit: replying to the developer reply, I did exactly as you asked and that's my complaint. The picker is difficult to use. Please read the comments more accurately.

I'm not sure what this paid version gets you. I paid $4.49+tax for the app, then when I open it, it says I have to pay another $4.49+tax to unlock the "all-in-one bundle" to get access to the constellations and planets upgrade, deep sky objects catalogue, extended solar system, excessive list of satellites and space cartoons. None of this is mentioned before making the initial purchase in the app store. Edit: dev responds to everyone with "you are welcome to read before purchase". Very rude.

I LOVE this app. Just point your phone straight up to the sky and keep the horizon level with your visual horizon, and you can see each and every planet and 🌟 star that's in the sky above you! It's enthralling! I am addicted! The satellite tracker is also 👌 perfection!! Thank you, Star Walk 2!!

For some reason I am required to provide permissions to the app to allow it to save photos to my gallery. While I do receive a pop-up indicating that this is necessary, the required permissions are not listed in the app permissions area. Even when expanding the entire set of permissions available, there is no permission about writing to the phone or the gallery or saving images to the phone. Would you please fix this, it's been broken for quite some time.

Pretty but cluttered, I found it difficult to find, say, Venus until I zoomed in on it, label didn't display until then. What if I don't know where to find it? No grid of azimuth and elevation (RA/Alt) is there a way to turn that on that I missed? Still hard to use, now won't start. Out 1000 yen. Uninstalling.

RESPONSE2DEV: the day I've edited the review was not working, could't find anything in the search bar, the results where random. Now works. Is the search uses internet? ***** Edit: why is so complicated to search for things? ******* I love this app, but one thing I wish was possible to have is the AR view (or even the standard com view is ok) together with "clock" mode to change the time by keeping the right orientation on the landscape. Hope they will add this feature.

Send fun notifications about the night spectacles to look out for. You point at the sky, and then it highlights constellations, satellites, and celestial bodies. I use it to find when the moon is going to be picture ready before even going outside
