The app stopped working for awhile now. Was getting the daily email but that has recently stopped, not sure why. Now the app won't let me sign up again. I really did enjoy the app when it worked, my son is deaf and I am learning so it was a help. Please fix app Update: They fixed it, very happy to have this learning tool back

Every time I booted up the app, I kept getting an error message saying "there was an error loading the database". None of the videos, vocabulary, lessons, etc will load. Rebooting and reinstalling the app didn't fit the problem. With how much I enjoyed using the website and how excited I was about doing the lessons on mobile, this was really disappointing :(

Do not recommend. "There was an error ing the database." The sign of the day is shown, but I'm not told the meaning. I tried to sign up for the word of the day but the email sign up is broken. I can see the alphabet/ numbers tab, but the topics tab is broken as I can't get it to select and search for the word I typed. Also missing is the game portion of the app. Seems like it might not be maintained anymore.

I guess this app was abandoned a while ago... I reed and the dictionary won't even load. After a second of "retrieving data" it says "ERROR there was a problem retrieving data." Every. Time. No matter if I'm on wifi or data. I still get the sign of the day emails though?? Years ago when I used it, it was very handy. If they would restore the app I would still use it.

The people in the videos sign way too fast. There is an option to slow it down, but then it's like a normal speed, so when you're trying to see exactly what hand shapes they are using, many times you can't. Good variety of signs though, and I like the concept of the app. Just slow down please since your audience are mostly beginners.

It should be more clear in topic options. Some signs can be used in multiple contexts & a sentence/definition to clarify would help. You can't always see proper hand position & people don't always have facial expressions. There's also some signs shown left handed instead of them all being right handed. It's confusing for deaf people if you sign both right & left handed. The app doesn't work well & freezes/crashes too much. It does have a nice amount of vocabulary for a free app. Good potential.

Open the app and it says click to start. It shows a video. I click play. It plays the video with no sound or explanation. I can slow the video down and replay it but that's it. The next button doesn't do anything. It doesn't explain what the sign means. There's a button at the bottom that says "sign of the day" which takes you to a page to sign up for emails.... And it doesn't work, saying there's an error. Under the menu button there's a dictionary... Which is blank, as is every other page

Seems promising. But it would be helpful if the slow down feature was actually slow. Not a slowed down video, because it's blurry. Also, maybe a side and front angle would be helpful so you can see exactly where on the body the hand placement is. Or at least some kind of description of hand positions and shape.
