It is a great app to record sound through the device's mic. I wish it would have some more advaced features (gain, compression, 3-band EQ, maybe a gate as well). As a professional, I find these "features" important and very useful. I know there is a mic boost option, but having a full strip control (for advaced s) would be a nice addition for the next version. Also, most devices are stereo. It would be grrat to have the option to record stereo @ 44 or 48kHz. Still, a great app!

Love that I can trust this app to continue recording even if I have to move away to look something up. And it records for HOURS! First session went 7+ hours and I was able to record it all in one go then listen back later to take notes. Awesome voice recording app. Only thing I'd improve is playback sound quality. It's a bit more quiet than I would like.

I had to switch to a new phone, and unfortunately, my recordings didn't sync. I'm not sure if there's a way to sync. Other than that, this app is super easy to use! Hasn't let me down yet! I encouraged my husband to put this app on his phone. He did. Then all of our kids did. I recommended it to my colleagues, and my husband recommended it to his fantasy football cohorts as well. It's just a really great app people need to have!

Excellent, sharp recording! The background music, from the TV which was more than feet away, was clearly heard. The voice of the person, singing the words to the song, was about 3 feet away. Excellent sound of him too. I believe this would be excellent for recording a meeting, for example, because of the great sound from the TV more than 12 feet away. This was the first time I have used this app. I AM impressed! I would highly recommend this app for your voice recording needs. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutely amazing, the fact that I just ed this app and was instantly able to hit the record button, record 4+ hours straight without a single hiccup, hit 'stop', named my file, and it saved without having to watch a single ad or be forced into creating an . I just ed this app to use for a specific reason, my friend was literally on a call with a realtor and needed a record of the deal to be safe and I found this app, saw 4.9 stars, ed, and easily recorded exactly what he needed all in seconds. Quality was perfect, the GUI is perfect, the EQ showing live recording levels was very helpful and no spam at all so far! Automatic file renaming option pops up, can edit, set a few options to customize, and everything works perfectly. Thanks!

For recording random sound bites or even making sound bites for my videos it is actually perfect for my needs. A basic system that is uncomplicated and makes work easy. As long as it doesn't get axed by corporate interference or costs. It is going to be my go to for years.

This app was easy to personalize settings to your preference. I appreciate settings in these kind of apps, such as how sensitive the mic is when recording sounds in dB (levels 1-10) or you can leave it on automatic. I also like that you can keep it from recording calls and set it to turn off during phone calls and standby mode. It is simple, but very convenient and loads very quickly. No issues with the app and it effectively performs the way it should.
