The operator generates captions of what the other party to the call says. These captions are then sent to your phone. There is a cost for each minute of captions generated, paid from a federally istered fund.

I love it! It's the best and only way for me to communicate with others. I am completely deaf, can't hear speech and I have difficulty interpreting sign language. This app helps me stay in connection with people and inspires others to want "It" for themselves or someone they know that could benefit from it as well. It's not perfect, but what is? I make the best of what I have, because without it I'd be lost!

This has been a life-changing app for me. I struggle with hearing and retaining information on important calls and have a hard time speaking. I used to dread making phone calls but this has made the task significantly easier. The AI captioning works great and I love that I can save the call transcripts for future reference. Bless whoever came up with this, it's wonderful.

I really love this app because I can finally know what people are saying with phone calls because even with my hearing aids I still have miss heard conversions. I will say that I have a hard time answering. When I try to answer it does not always automatically go on especially if my phone is locked, and the caller can't hear me so they hang up by the time I get back to the app. Also I miss ringtones so I know who is calling with the difference in sound. But otherwise love this app

so far great, just learning the ropes, but so far, great. so what you do is set up call forwarding from your number to the innocaption #. when a call comes in, you push answer on the innocaption app that automatically opens when a call comes. in. outgoing calls you open the app. the captioning is accurate. you know how it's hard to understand those India accents, well the innocaption has the same problem, so it's not just your hearing why they are hard to understand. they try though.

It has been a life changer for me. I am functionally deaf and have not been able to do business easily over the telephone, particularly with people who speak too quickly or have heavy accents. Innocaption has changed all that - sometimes I even enjoy doing business over the phone without listening at all!!

I do use the app frequently and had to learn the hard way. Just to be straight up, InnoCaption Live is great! However, when you are speaking with someone, I would highly recommend talking slowly and articulating your words so that your conversations will be clear and precise with you and the caller. If you don't speak with articulation from the words you are speaking, and speak too fast; "InnoCaption" will try to make up a word. That word would not be the correct word you are trying to say.

It took me a minute or two to figure out how to use this after a sudden hearing malfunction that made a phone call prohibitive. I'm still trying to figure out inbound calls but I can have a real conversation with my doctor's office or insurance company now without guessing what was said. Now if I could get one for when visitors come I would probably avoid hearing aids.

I'm profoundly deaf in both ears and I wear in-the-canal hearing aids. Contrary to many people's beliefs, hearing aids do not instantly make us HEAR CLEARLY. My deafness is inner ear nerve deafness, so I have some major difficulties if I can't SEE and READ the lips and the facial expressions of the person speaking to me. Phone usage was simply out of the question---even with my hearing aids. Now, though, with the use of this awesome app, I can READ what is being spoken to me. Wonderful app!
