I have been using the ad ed version of this app. It is one of the better tools I have used. If I were in the business of selling coins in a shop or eBay, I would buy the full version. In my case, I do not do volume sales and can not justify $40 per year for the app. If the full version were available for a one-time, reasonable price, I would buy it.

Functions good enough but insists on payment even before starting, despite of a supposedly "free 7 days trial". I could test it by selecting the "one day trial" from the dropdown menu on the app icon and it actually works. Still, this is subscription based and guite expensive which, along with the dishonest design, puts me off and lets me uninstall and avoid it.

The only reason I'm writing this review is to complain about the way these people do business. I ed the app and got the 7 day free trial. I cancelled the free trial b4 the 7 days was over or so I thought. Well today they took money from my without any prior notifications for a year long subscription that I never subscribed to. I have asked for my money back since I haven't used the app since the free trial. I'm hoping they do the right thing and give me a refund. I doubt I it bac

I just ed my first year of sescribing to this App. This App works well for providing basic information of coins. It's a great tool for beginner coin collectors. It's also a great resource for learning coin history, and types of coin errors. The App itself can use some upgrades to make it easier to create groups or sets. I strongly recommend this App as well as sescribing to it if you are a beginner coin collector.

The description made it seem as though the payment would be monthly at 2.99 per month. Instead I was charged $44 all at once at the end of my free trial. Maybe I misunderstood but it felt like a dirty trick. Fortunately, they refunded me but I could have done without the stress. Also, when it is unable to identify a coin, the app instead makes wild guesses which is pretty confusing. Why is there is no feature to tell you that it just can't find it? I tested this with an arcade token.

I'm scanning a 2016 coin and it tells me over and over again that it's some 1916 mercury silver dime worth 200k. very stupid. edited to respond to the dev comment: yes, the photos were taken in various light conditions in several rooms. the photo was in focus every time and the app even said "perfect! take photo" before I took the photos. I only used it on one coin to be fair, but that's certainly enough for me to say no.

Idk it's definitely a good idea, but I noticed a lot of inconsistencies. For example, I scanned the same coin 4 times and it came up with different values for each scan of that same coin. **Edit for clarity** This is with images of the same coin, same position, same location, same lighting, same camera. Same result with multiple coins, all with variations in value, from <.06 to .86-1.24.

The app starts to get you to sign up for a trail and then get automatically charged, if you just want to try it out, why do you ask for g up? I went back in the screen then it allowed you to scan and try out, however the app was unable to identify my coin and came up with a total different coin. Remove the trail sign up right after starting the app, people should be able to test it without requesting to sign up. Have not tested other coins.
