This app used to allow me to choose a unique notification sound so I would always know it was this app, but now it only allows the default notification sound for my phone which means it gets lost among other less important notifications. I'd like to have the option to choose notification sounds back again, please.

Update2: Everytime there is an app update, the widgets and widget buttons no longer work, you have to delete them and remake in order to regain functionality, please fix this issue (API handling). Update: over the last few updates, all of our widgets and short keys have stopped working, Please fix! We absolutely LOVE this trailblazing platform/service, however, after months of use in our building, the android app is seriously lacking functionality…

Updated from 2->4 stars after fixing the background data issue that presented the "something went wrong" pop-up when using the widget. The app + widgets work, but is somewhat clumsy compared to traditional RFID devices I've historically used. That said it is kind of handy for visitors. Original review: Widgets commonly fail with "something went wrong"

Frankly, this app is a pain in the a**. I have never had this much trouble with any app. It always signs me out then I can't get back in and I have to redo my . I do this and it says I have to the app which obviously I have already done. I just stopped using the swipe feature altogether because I am unable to sign in so I use the keying in on the box next to the door because this at least works. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. but nothing changed.

I hate this app, it losses connectivity all the time and the list disappears and reappears at will, some times I have to close it open it, 3 or 4 times , refreshing it doesn't work. I complaint to my apartments management. They don't care. Also there is so many doors that I need to go through 20 doors list to open the 17 door. Horrible app.

All of a sudden the app has stopped working on my google Pixel 7 Pro(I've been using this for work for 1 year). I have done everything to get it to work. Made sure the updates were up to date, uninstalled and re installed it, and rebooted my phone. I am the only person in out building that uses it that has a Pixel. I installed it to my ipad and have had no issues. I reached out to and it's been 2 weeks and i still haven't gotten a follow up. Beware if you are anything, but and IOS .

An app like this is designed for efficiency, and ButterflyMX fails to deliver. The ideal process is that I open this app and swipe, and my door is unlocked so that I can enter the building without missing a beat. But across multiple devices, updates, and buildings, the app suffers enough crashes and delays that it is almost always less effective than just using the door code or key. My advice: Tenants: just use your key or code Property managers: use a better app

I've missed so many people at the door with this system. My phone never notifies me about it, it just tells me 20m later that I missed a visitor. It also goes to voicemail without using the app notification pretty often, which isn't great since google intercepts it to screen. The device also goes blank and doesn't allow visitors to use it at all. Truly awful service.
