There is so much that is done so well with Athena Crisis. Unlocking content by completing Campaign maps feels rewarding. Deg custom maps is a blast with an interface that even works well on mobile devices. Interacting with other players through Crystals is horrifically, nightmarishly stressful but also kinda fun and potentially rewarding. Most importantly, the core combat mechanics just feel good and work well. If you like turn-based strategy, give this game a shot.
